How to measure your pup

For the best fit, please measure your pup before choosing their coat size.

Neck: Measure around the base of your pup's neck, where the coat neckline will sit.

Chest: Measure around the widest part of your pup's chest, just behind their front legs.

Back Length: Measure from the base of the neck to the point where you would like the coat to finish. 

Please keep your pup standing naturally while measuring and use a soft tape measure. 

If your is between sizes, please check the measurements measurements in our size guide and choose the size that gives them enough room to move comfortably.

Please choose your size using your pup's measurements rather than their usual clothing size. If your pup is between sizes or you're unsure, please contact us before ordering.

Our fabrics are available across different Love Lulu creations.

Some fabrics are suitable for coats, some are used as coat linings, and many can also be used for bandanas. Availability depends on the fabric and design you're choosing.

Every Love Lulu is handmade to order. This means your coat is created specifically for your pup rather than taken from ready-made stock.

Coat care

Our coats are handmade with care and should be treated gently to help keep them looking their best.

We recommend:

• Spot clean where possible 
• If a full wash is needed, gently hand wash in cool water.
• Do not tumble dry
• Allow to air dry naturally
• Avoid harsh detergents or bleach
• Iron on a low heat only when suitable for the fabric

Please take extra care with coats featuring bows, buttons, trims or other decorative details.

Fabric care can vary depending on the fabrics used, so please contact us if you are unsure how to care for your particular coat.

Your chosen fabrics will be used to create your coat in the style shown on this product page.

Please remember to include your chosen fabric codes in your order notes.

For example:

Base fabric: B2

Lining fabric: L1

Detail fabric: V2

Fabric availability can change, and some fabrics may only be suitable for certain coat style or details.

Because every piece is handmade to order, the placement of patterns may vary slightly from the example shown.

Colours may also appear slightly different depending on your screen.

Please note: The spec drawing shows the coat style and design details. Your finished coat will be made using the fabrics and options you select.
